P&I fellow elected to House of Delegates at the College of American Pathologists

Hansini Laharwani, MD, a former Gynecologic and Breast Pathology Fellow in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine, was recently elected to the House of Delegates at the College of American Pathologists (CAP). As a delegate, Dr. Laharwani will represent the state of Iowa, where she plans on practicing in the future.

CAP, which is the world’s largest organization of board-certified pathologists, invited all fellows in good standing to vote for individuals to be elected to the House of Delegates, the largest member body within CAP. Dr. Laharwani was one of 497 delegates from 58 different U.S. states, territories, provinces, and armed services groups elected to serve in the House of Delegates for the 2023-2026 term. Dr. Laharwani and her colleagues will play a critical role in connecting CAP leadership and pathologists in the U.S., effectively serving as voice for current members.
