Research Statement
I am interested to know the role played by the human B cells and their antibody arsenal to fight off infections. Both antibodies and viruses have the ability to mutate, and it is fascinating to understand how one influences the other. My goal is to understand the evolution of the B cell response to aid vaccine research against difficult pathogens.
