Research Statement

My research focuses on lipoprotein trafficking, organ-to-organ communications, and inflammatory diseases regarding liver and intestinal injury. Specifically, I have studied the HDL trafficking and excretion which is a crucial element in cholesterol homeostasis and its tissue of origin in regulating intestinal adaptation and metabolic responses.
