Research Interests

Bone homeostasis is a dynamic process that involves the balanced regulation of bone formation and bone resorption. Any disruption in this balance can lead to various bone disorders, such as osteoporosis, osteopetrosis, and Paget’s disease.SNX10 is a member of the sorting nexin (SNX) family of proteins that has been implicated in various cellular processes, including protein trafficking, endosomal sorting, and autophagy. Recent studies have suggested that SNX10 may play a critical role in regulating bone homeostasis by modulating the activity of osteoclasts, the main cell type involved in bone remodeling. My research is focused on investigating the specific mechanisms by which SNX10 protein modulates bone homeostasis.
