Ronald Jackups, MD, PhD, will receive the AABB President’s Award at the 2019 AABB Annual Meeting on October 19. This prestigious honor is awarded by the AABB President to recognize leadership and service in the field of blood banking and transfusion medicine. Dr. Jackups was selected for his role as co-founder and editor of Transfusion Medicine Question of the Day, a free and public online resource started in 2012 to provide educational content in transfusion medicine to physicians, technologists, and students.
