Research Interests
My research interests primarily focus on clinical-translational research and the application of advanced technologies in clinical diagnostics to interrogate biological processes and ultimately, improve patient care. My work lives at the intersection of innovation and quality improvement, often times starting by simply questioning the status quo and how things are traditionally done. I have a particular interest in the specialty areas of clinical toxicology, point of care testing (POCT), immunology, endocrinology, infectious disease, and the assessment of kidney function. I’ve approached this work with a focus on health equity and serving marginalized populations.
