Research Interests

My interests include implementation of novel diagnostics to improve workflow, efficiency, and time to results in the microbiology laboratory to more rapidly and accurately diagnose complicated infections. I am particularly interested in the development of rapid molecular assays for pathogens with minimal diagnostic testing available, especially for fungal and parasitic infections.
