Research Interests

I am interested in collaborating with researchers in both academia and industry to develop clinically useful, mass spectrometry-based assays to improve diagnosis and/or prognosis of human disease. My current research focuses on 1) detecting emerging drugs of abuse and 2) working with researchers in the Department of Neurology to develop and optimize assays for diagnosing/staging Alzheimer’s disease and monitoring treatment response in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
