Research Interests

My research interests encompass the development of in vitro diagnostic assays for the field of clinical microbiology, as well as well as understanding the role of human microbiome in health and disease states. I am also interested in novel forms of antimicrobial resistance expression and the use of next generation sequencing for metagenomic analysis of clinical specimens.
